Acommon saying that most people in Gen-Z must have heard from their predecessors is that, at this point in time, we have unlimited access to learning. Considering the drastic changing of gears in the development of all aspects, there has been a significant spike in providing education through online platforms. However, a specific incident helped speed this process: COVID-19. Like affecting most industries, COVID-19 played a huge role in bringing the limelight under Online learning. Through this came the realization of improving a workplace completely Online. Since everything shifted to online mode during that time period, 80% of companies and 50% of institutional students relied on an e-learning platform for studying. Companies started relying on e-learning platforms; They found new and improved ways of developing their inhouse team. Since times change, its imperative for a company to adapt continuously and upgrade its workforce. The fastest and the most comfortable way of achieving this with the highest amount of completion percentage was through Corporate Learning.

Small Companies:

Due to revenue and size constraints they are forced to employ different tactics for large scale upscaling. By strategizing, small startups or small businesses achieve upskilling. As a result, in small businesses, individuals frequently choose their own mentors from the divisions they want to go to. This guarantees that these personnel gain a thorough understanding of business operations and teamwork. An employee often fills many responsibilities in small enterprises due to a lack of resources. These workers get a variety of abilities at their jobs by performing a variety of duties.

The main reason behind the large investments done by companies on Corporate Learning is to bridge the skill gap. In terms of the knowledge and skills that their employees need to accomplish their objectives, almost 87% of organizations are experiencing a gap. Instead of acquiring fresh talent, businesses offer corporate learning to upskill current employees so they can handle increased responsibilities.
